Em had a song he was gonna put on kamikaze that was "way too far" according to dre so he didn't release it I'm not sure what it was but after revival em was fucking PISSED, this album is so underrated it has like 2 meh songs on it other than that its straight fire, he dropped this out of nowhere and proved that he can do trap (better than most rappers), I love one of the lines in "Greatest" where he says you don't know the tools I have in my tool kit, hes so good ima glaze bro for the rest of my life

Some people like to think NF didn't diss Eminem after this album. I know Verti agrees that NF took a shot back, but for the doubters, there's another line from NF that gets overlooked. In Returns, after the "drop the T and A" line he says this: "Shoot you out of the sky like your punchlines, you are not landing," Em is the plane in the sky, a Kamikaze. Kamikazes crash, they dont land.

Kamikaze was a great comeback after revival but I think every album after kamikaze is better than it, and normal is dope only dud for me is nice guy that shits just not good haha

Something I think is worth noting - after this album his music really starts to *feel* like the old him in that intangible sort of way. The music still sounds different but there’s that 100% authenticity you can feel in it that you can’t on most of his post encore work. And that’s not to say most of it was bad, most of it is good. It just lacked that something that I think his 2020 onward material has. I think you’re really gonna like Music to be murdered by and The Death of Slim shady. His song writing ability, production selection, and hook game just improved more and more. My hot take that most of his fans would probably disagree with is that I believe Music to be Murdered by and The Death of Slim Shady are better than the slim shady lp.
