🕑 Added 2023-08-03 23:17:44 +0000 UTCFor those of you who may not know, my friend and colleague, Alps Sarsis , passed away in late July in his sleep due to unknown causes.
Words cannot express my sadness at his passing. He had a massive influence on my work and he is already sorely missed.
He wrote several amazing stories that I went on to illustrate, and was key in the development of many characters, but chief among them in my work were both Geri & Tavia ( left couple) and Unadi & Seile (right couple).
I'll be dedicating my next artbook to him and I intend to write a full eulogy acknowledging his involvement with my work, but for now please have this WIP of my tribute to him and his work in the fandom.

I've reread his stories so many times over the years, and now I'm doing it with tears in my eyes. It isn't fair, for his family above all else. My heart goes out to them. This is a beautiful looking tribute Scappo. I just wish it wasn't necessary.

Yeah the news hit pretty hard. Came out of fucking nowhere too man... Hope his family will be okay. It's also sad that his ongoing projects will never be finished now.
