friends, it's time once again for us to visit the terrifying world of current events as we talk recent happenings in politics in the Anglosphere once again. first, Eleanor gets us up to speed on life under the Glorious Regime of Keith and your new Labour overlords. as you might have guessed: even with the Tories out of power, it's a lot of "here's the new boss, same as the old boss" vibes. then, Luke goes deep on the seismic shifts in American politics in the past month, particularly Joe Biden stepping down from the 2024 ticket and Kamala Harris taking his place. it's at once a massive event of huge consequence and more of the same from Dems, just twenty years younger this time. enjoy! nothing ever happens... until it does.
