Wow. I’m in such disbelief. That is a horrible, inappropriate, and unacceptable thing you went through. I’m sorry but you would be 100% justified to sue. For the manager to say I will “scold” the actor is not at all the way to handle this type of situation. That is a liability to have someone do that before even signing a waiver. That is exactly why businesses shut down and that’s such a disappointing way to handle something and not at all okay. If you sign the waiver and it clearly states that you will or may get tased then that’s one thing but to not even sign anything and it’s in a part of someone’s body that is considered assault/could be deemed sexual and all the manager wanted to do was “scold.” I’m sorry I had to get this out because it’s not okay on any level. If someone had a heart condition/diabetes/pace maker and they wanted to do this but didn’t want to do all the extras and they got tased without the waiver that’s not okay. Also, the fact that you guys paid for the mercy things and they didn’t refund you shows what kind of business they are. I would feel so poorly if that was my business. I actually did something similar to the 17th Door called Final Fear. It was a group of haunted houses, but one required you to sign a waiver and pay extra if you wanted to participate, so we decided to go for it. As we waited in line, a creepy character would periodically slam the door open, pull you in with a burlap sack over your head, zip-tie your hands, and drag you inside so you couldn’t see what was around you. Once the sack was removed, they’d throw bugs near your face, make you sing songs, and even threaten ‘punishments’ if you didn’t comply. In one area, there was a closed coffin with someone inside, and they’d ask if you’d switch places with that person—if you refused, the person just had to stay in there. At the end, to escape, we had to dig out a key from a toilet filled with oatmeal designed to look like vomit. It was a wild experience, and I’m still shocked I actually went through with it!

I went to 17th door last year and it was scary and fun . We signed up for the ride along where there was a van of 10 people and we had to “steal “ drugs and pimp our ride and run away from a clown with a chain saw . Then you start the 17 doors . I had the mercy pendent and I got tased the guy got me in my thigh area . I did get 1 of my lashes ripped off . Which idc about. But I did nearly drown at the very end when having to unlock the deadbolt and they dunk you underwater for 10-15 seconds
