🕑 Added 2024-12-22 17:25:21 +0000 UTCSorry for not responding or producing enough on the platform. As a person, I’m not very engaged with social media, and physically, I’m more reserved. But I feel like I owe you an explanation—or perhaps this is more of a vent.
Unfortunately, in the past few months, I’ve been dealing with body pains, especially in my legs. I went to the doctor, and she told me I need to exercise more. It’s something I actually enjoy doing, but after the pandemic, I became more sedentary. The little time I have, I usually can’t fit the gym into my routine. Many times, I’ve thought about giving up drawing, but it’s also something I love doing.
I hope you all understand that my initiative to create comic drawings was to share my transformation ideas. I never intended to make money from it, but unfortunately, life has gotten more expensive, and the money I receive through Patreon has become something that helps me a lot financially. At the same time, it’s turned into something I don’t enjoy as much, something I feel obligated to do no matter what because people are paying for it.
With all that said, I’m not sure what Patreon will look like next year. I don’t know what I’ll prioritize in my life. I don’t know if I’ll be able to post a comic page every Sunday. I don’t know if I’ll really manage to go to the gym. I just don’t know. I’d love to get big and muscular like the characters in my drawings, but I’d have to be very dedicated to that. Similarly, I’d love to create animations for the stories I have to share with you, but that also requires a lot of time and dedication. That’s why, again, I don’t know what next year will bring.
I understand if you choose to leave due to my lack of commitment to you, which might happen at some point. What I can say for sure is that I’m incredibly grateful for how far we’ve come together. Your support, encouragement, and comments—while I may not reply to them all, I read every one of them. It makes me so happy to know there are people who enjoy the drawings I create. I can’t tell you how proud I feel when I finish a chapter, whether it’s for Long Night or Savage. While their stories aren’t complete yet, finishing a chapter and seeing that you enjoyed it is something that brings me a lot of joy.
I honestly don’t know how I’ll organize Patreon next year. I’m leaning more toward focusing on the gym, which seems very difficult but not impossible. I’d like to get as close as I can to being a bodybuilder—it’s something I’ve wanted to achieve for many years.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, spends time with the people you love, and enjoys the great year ahead of us all.

Thanks for sharing how you’re doing and I hope you’re taking some down time over the holidays. From a Patreon perspective, you could probably move to one completed page a month and maybe share an update or a WIP during the month which is what most creators do. It always amazes me how you could produce such high quality work for a release every week! I’m sure a lot will still support you here if you were to cut back the number of posts a month. On the gym side, it is hard to stay motivated. I know I’m trying to get back into a routine and it’s tough. Feel free to share that here, even on a group chat if you didn’t want to share as a post. It might help you get your thoughts out of your head

It can be really hard to sustain motivation on any project for a long time, sometimes especially something that you love. I've been working out for years and my motivation comes and goes, but stuff like your art helps keep me motivated. I want to be a big hairy beast like Rogerio. Too bad it can't just happen overnight with magic in real life! Thank you for letting us know how you're doing. You're my favourite artist I support and I always look forward to your post, if it's weekly or longer. Focus on your physical health but also on your mental health. I'll keep supporting you.

Will continue to support you as long as I am able to! As I've said before, you are a huge influence on me wanting to start to draw. While I hope you're able to balance both focusing on your health and drawing, I understand needing to prioritize your health first. Do what you have to do to stay alive.
