Indeed, balance is important. World building vs plot vs character development. Also, apparently there is an actual term/technique for what I described "Show, don't tell" (google ftw). An example of where this could have been applied is Lily following the events of the previous chapter. Things like: - The MC and Lily catching up on each other's backgrounds - Lily's reasons for following the MC (i.e. trusting him) - Lily's reactions to some of the other characters (or even his village of goblins) - Discussing Lily's role in the group - Examples that Lily knows of people who have gone through their Advancement and possible effects - Which could lead to asking about the general consensus on whether dual attributes are better than one. Or if there are triple attribute builds and are they worth it?

I understand the benefits of both ways to go about it. Since this is a LitRPG genre story, it would naturally lean towards the more summarized types of chapters as you typically just would want to get on with it. However, I also understand that if I truly want my characters, or just the story in general, to have any weight to it, I need more of these conversations and interactions to create some depth. So the third option is what I'm going to strive for, which is creating a balance between the two. :D

I don't want to read whole chapters dedicated to that. I prefer the current style. There are plenty of books that do it like Amelgar advised. Please keep this one as it is

It would be nice to see some of these conversations/interactions the MC has with the other characters instead of them happening off screen and summarized in a later chapter. Otherwise it feels like everyone but the MC is just a named mob. Mika from the second arc suffered from this.
