Breaking Characters Into Layers
🕑 Added 2015-10-12 19:52:02 +0000 UTC Though the next Conroy Cat short needs a little more work, the main focus of production for the next few months is dedicated to Team Teen: Convergence of Gravity Falls Part 2 and 3. Combined, the short has a running time of around five minutes, so I'm hoping I can get it all done in time so both shorts can be released early next year.Since I'll be relying more on tweens this time around, I decided to seperate each character's body part into layers. This is mainly being done so I can figure out how to break the characters down for animation holds. I don't know how much it'll speed up the production process, but I think it'll still be helpful.

It should speed up the process a bit. I've found it has helped quite a bit with the project I'm currently working on. Although most of the time I've decided to just do keyframe animation rather than the tweens.
