Blog Post: Pacing, choices, and projects oh my!

I've had a lot of people talk about how the pacing of Nyatorase still seems a little too fast. Honestly that may be true, and I think I will probably go back later in development to touch up some pacing and such, but for now I am focused on completing the game.
Since the start I have stated how much I want to have choice for what kind of content you want to see in your specific playthrough. The more choices I add, the more variables there are, and more variations that need to be made. I have seen some express specifically they like the raceplay aspect of things in dialogue but don't like any tattoos/accessories. Later on I will go back and separate those (specifically for v0.05's scenes) but once again, that will be a late in development thing.
Now that my hard drive issues are dealt with I am going to get back to commissioning more voice lines for Kat again. Starting v0.06 you should see regular voice additions.
Changing subject, if you're in the discord you may have seen me make a few posts about the next project after Nyatorase. Initially I was going to wait until Nyatorase was completely finished before starting on it, but I've been motivated a bit recently on the concept so I am debating making a simple short build for the game for now and updating it irregularly. Nyatorase will continue to receive monthly updates of course, but this second project will be updated every so often when I feel like adding to it.
The attached image on this post is the heroine of this new project, so please look forward to it whenever I get to actually working on it!

I'm going to keep backing regardless, but here's my opinion. Assuming that each chapter hits a fixed milestone in the story and that each chapter takes a fixed amount of time and effort from you (not the best assumption, I know), I'd rather have some of the time spent be dedicated to story/relationship-focused stuff, even if that means less porn per chapter. To me, that makes the scenes much more impactful, even if they end up shorter overall. Also, if the choice is between more options and more fleshed-out content, more fleshed-out content with fewer options, please!

Personally I’m fine with the pacing. I also like the approach of creating the game completely before adding the filler/variety. Seems like a lot of games get caught up and bogged down on creating 3-4 paths per update and ruins the pacing. Also, super excited about the new project concept! Not gonna lie, that sheer veil is super hot. Keep up the awesome work dude!
