I think as far as subtitles go you guys should do whatever works best for you! If it is easier for mom to understand what is being said that's a plus, but the extra time spent making them will inevitably lead to longer wait times between episodes and a bigger workload for you, so it's kind of a wash lol. Do whatever you want to do! We will enjoy the reactions plenty either way

The dub is very decent and even better sometimes (IMHO). I think you should choose what is more comfortable for you guys so that you both can focus on the show.
