🕑 Added 2019-09-12 06:44:20 +0000 UTCConcerning tier jumping and hit and running. I expected this and thankfully the majority of Patrons are straight up. But this does still happen. So I'm gonna clarify a few things and hope it helps it some.
Walkthrough Reward:
This'll get release for free just like everything else. Just need to wait a month.
Main Game:
Wait a month or get it through unofficial means.
Bonus Scene:
They gonna be release for free too. Maybe a couple of months of exclusivity. Seriously, you're not missing much. It's just a tiny cherry on top for those who are willing to support at the max tier. In fact I fell like I'm short changing them since the scenes are so short.
Upfront Charge:
This will fix the problem for sure but I'm reluctant to enable it coz Patrons get charged if they want to change their tier for valid reasons.
Takeaway:
Everything will come out for free eventually. Bypassing the tier stuff is kinda unfair to those who are actually on them.

Yeah if you downgrade tier you'll just be charged less the next month.

Oh so you don't get any extra charge if you downgrade tiers? Didn't know that. That's a little better. Damn, you make things clearer than the Patreon help pages do. I'll wait a bit, if things get really bad I'll see to enabling it.

Regarding the upfront payment, if you change your tier to a higher one you'll only pay the difference, it's up to the patrons if they want to wait until the start of the next month to change tier to avoid paying the difference for the remaining time left of the month vs changing tier at the start of a month and getting the entire month at a higher tier. IMO it makes sense to have upfront payments.
