Cog enjoying MW3 isn't really that surprising if he's been away from the series since BO3, MW2019 and Cold War campaigns are fire. He should absolutely dig into those if he enjoyed 3.

There are good voice actors that can convincingly reproduce Indy from the OT. Personally I'm excited because those original Indy movies (particularly Raiders and Crusade) are some of the greatest films ever made. Fate of Atlantis is one of the greatest point and clicks too. Whether they can use Ford's likeness is probably up to Disney, but it's fine if he looks a little different. I get not caring if you're super young and haven't seen the movies though.

It's going to be hard to respect cogs opinion on cod going further on. He did say he hasn't played Cod in years but even blops 3 had a better campaign. Say what you want about the storyline

If you haven't played since BlOps3 I can see where there is fun to be had; Also if you didn't play at launch they have patched it a few times. My first runthrough was buggy as all hell, there is literally no incentive to jump into a new CoD other than FOMO. Also it has been HEAVILY discounted since launch.

I don't understand what yall see in this Indiana Jones game tbh. Machine games isn't that great of studio anyways but most importantly are any of yall Indi fans? We're not going to get Harrison Ford and if he even wanted to do it now it would be terrible. The guy is in his 90s he can't do voice overs. Is he going to look like Ford? If so it better make sense with his voice. I predict 6.5/10

Cog and Matty continue to talk from both sides of their mouth, console sales don’t matter and console sales matter a lot. The fact is the “hardcore fans” are all console fans. That’s it. So if console sales don’t matter, and the Series is performing extremely poorly, then Xbox console doesn’t matter and games will just come out on other platforms. Tim Stuart didn’t say MS only wanted to take Gamepass elsewhere, he said first party experiences. Phil Spencer came out and said “We have no plans for Gamepass on PlayStation/Switch” whatever, an half answer. It’s politics, it’s optics, read between the lines and stop parroting the bs corporate line.

Cogs take on MW3 is inexcusably bad. Everything he listed as liking was a previous mechanic for past 5 years or so. It’s like playing Halo Infinite without having played any other halo games.

I think Colin touched upon this before when Phil and Xbox's CFO offering very conflicting words, but I think there is a civil war brewing at Xbox over the future of the company. The long time Xbox teams want Xbox to become the leading game platform (and console). They believe Gamepass is a tool to use to remove Sony from its top spot. However Microsoft teams (and many former 3rd party developers & publishers) would prefer Xbox to become 3rd party/more third party. They want Xbox games and gamepass at as many places as possible. They don't really care about a console. Sea of Thieves and Hifi are potentially tests by the Microsoft side.

The CoD hate has never been more unjustified but then again, the warzone honeymoon faze for these cumsumers ended a couple years ago. Literally the best multiplayer for a CoD in a goddamn decade and so many people are just choosing to not play it bc reasons 🤷🏻‍♂️.

The reality MS wants to make money. Just look at the sales charts. These companies just want to make money. Whether it be Nintendo, Playstation or any company. They are not your friends. Money... That's the metric of success and always will be.
