C,C,&D were not referring to laxatives as many refer to them colloquially, i.e. contact/stimulant laxatives. They were concerned with fecal production, not just evacuation. I believe they were looking for the term hyperosmotic(s). Admittedly, this is a category of laxative, but I can understand how they could infer that a wholly different term would be available, given the difference in the mechanism.
