Loved the monkey's paw question, I think you could make a whole show out of that. My personal decidedly un-American one would be a true sequel to the PS2 Pro Evolution Soccer series, essentially Pro Evolution Soccer 7 with updated graphics without touching anything else. The monkey's paw would be if they made it all Ultimate Team with no single player options.

I was thinking The Old Republic MMO was the biggest loss til this. But I looked it up and apparently it turned around and is profitable. But I remember when subscribers went to shit at the end of 2012 or so, people were talking about how it was the biggest failure in games.

If you like Unicorn Overlord, check out DioField Chronicles. It's not as good in terms of presentation but it's a similar style game and I found the combat far more engaging.
