Dragon Age : failguard! I need to see the ending of the story, but I think it will be on youtube, too much wokeness here, I just dont understand why you try to make it seem its just like Inquisition ou BG3, just because there are gay characters as well, but they were done in good taste, I dont mind gay characters, but woke writing is shit, and both Inquisition and BG3 were done in good taste…

Hoeg is articulate and smart but when you do a lot of podcasts you have to learn to self edit. In short; he needs to stfu sometimes and understand how a 3 way podcast works. His entire schpiel about coffee and relating it to some Star Trek episode followed about his 12th unnecessary interjection. I think a big reason is the lack of investment in new AAA single player teams by the big 3rd parties. The few teams that do spring up seem to get one game before being relegated to support for one of the many live service ventures out there. If there was a healthy supply of "new guard" studios taking the reins from the "old guard", I think people would have less of an attachment to the empty husky that Bioware has become

Hurts more for me as a big fan of Inquisition and I actually enjoyed Andromeda. I hate to throw around the word cope but people saying anything positive about this game are living off cope. Nice visuals, even if it is a shitty art style, that’s about it for me. All subjective of course but good god I can’t find anything redeeming about this game.

Shout out to Hoeg at the end, I don't think Veilguard is that great of a game myself, but I also found that SkillUps review wasn't his most accurate hes put out, nice to see someone call that out instead of just blindly praising it. Media literacy is incredibly important for critics, and I think Hoeg hit the nail on the head with Matty's review being much more useful and informative from a critical perspective.

The galaxy’s population is getting turned into soup and according to the story, it’s more important to do 16 side missions to recruit characters and then another 16 side missions to gain their loyalty…. All to pad out a 4 hour long main quest line. Seems legit right? And if you aren’t a full paragon or full renegade, you’re not getting the ending you wanted because you didn’t gain a characters loyalty. Oh and if you don’t play the stupid probing mini game, some random squad member just dies going through the omega 4 relay. You can critical path mass effect 1, beat it in 16 hours, and get the same results you would putting in 40 into ME2 or 3 doing everything because if you don’t, the outcome you get sucks.

Excellent trio and I think this just sold me on the game. I know the writing is bad and annoying, I know the choices don't matter, blah blah. I don't give a shit about the story anyway. I heard them say the combat is the best BioWare's ever had and as an action RPG, it's pretty good. That's all I needed to hear. When it hits a sale, I'm in. Thanks guys.

Oh boy, this one will be good. Was honestly pretty bummed by the begining of the game but after I finished it I felt like this was the most 7/10 experience I’ve had this year. Combat is pretty neat, writing was ass and the last act was pretty solid.
