Yeah mostly nixes I have learned that recently also. Makes my point even stronger. Heck, Nintendo remasters every game under the sun, this 10$ upgrade, which is pretty robust, doesn’t hurt anyone imo

As far as I understand, the H:ZD remake was to be in line with the Netflix series coming but that got pushed back indefinitely after the scandal. I wasn’t on board with the ZD remake until they actually showed it off. It looks great. FW looked much better than ZD and now they’re both on the same visual level. For a $10 upgrade, I ain’t mad at it. But, I replayed ZD all the way through including the DLC before FW so I have no intention of ever playing it again. Didn’t even think of the AC Black History Month connection. That is something. 😅 Avowed delaying and adding 60 frames at launch would be a nice way to curve a delay. I like Metaphor but I can already tell I don’t love it like the Persona series. The setting, music, and characters don’t vibe with me. #DDTGS

To Matty talking inFAMOUS, I appreciated the franchise but was only able to play the 1st (lengthy), never played the 2nd (Sony PLEASE, don’t make PS3 streaming forever 🙇‍♂️) I played Second Son to Platinum, as well as the 1st Sly. I wanna just take a moment to appreciate the approachable Platinum. Both Sly and Second Son were sweet because they required devotion but the mission statement was clear.

I'm surprised you all were lukewarm about the TGS, I don't play ff or any of the jrpgs, but I thought that volume of jrpgs and similar coming over was strong. Especially when so many people seem to pine for them adding more Japanese focused content. Wonder if we're getting our expectations spoiled my leaks/similar because you come away not surprised.

Damn Matty really hates the remasters. Dude just let the people who never played the game before buy it and enjoy it with upgraded graphics and performance. If you’re a fan of the game like I was with tlou 2 then just get the 10$ upgrade. And if you don’t want pay the 10$ you’re still allowed to play your original copy with backwards compatibility.

40 million? My guy, the switch has almost passed the ps2 in sales. It’s hovering in the 140 million plus range. Also, you are disgusted by the horizon remaster? That’s a bit hyperbolic. It’s a 10$ upgrade that probably only a small fraction of Guerrilla worked on.

Not going to lie: I was a little disappointed by Cog's underwhelming response to Ghost of Yotei during the ILP reaction. Glad he was given a chance to talk about it again after a few days of marinating on it. It looks so dope.
