I honestly think Jaffe was pretty reasonable with what he said (and I disagree with him somewhat often). Which was basically (paraphrasing): "I have only had very pleasant interactions with Matty and do not think he would say these things, but I don't know him well enough to say with 100% certainty that he wouldn't." We've gone through enough internet controversies to know that there are times when people you think you know show their true colors. In this case, the correct thing to do would be to wait for more information, in which case it is obvious Matty is not at fault. So yeah I feel like it's more of a case of him commenting on it way too early and completely lacking information.
