not sure if this helps but i dont worry about it too much, i dont do a lot of construction and measuring, i draw a sketch, if proportions feel off, transform and resize until it feels right, even late into the painting. for in these images in particular i used reference for the poses.

alrighty~ how do you personally go about measuring certain details? particularly on your lolis, do you measure by heads or the length of the skull? and how wide would you describe the ribcage as?
