Feels bad man...

Guy Incognito

Well revealing to Medraut that Hel actually "killed" Cywyllog a second time should be enough for Medraut to refuse her blessing if offered and possibly try and kill her before the gods. Or maybe it'll just drive him yet further into madness, who can tell with that guy?

Can't answer your previous question for story reasons, but for immortality fatigue, I agree with you it depends on each person. In Hel's case, it's more of a combination of personal nihilism and her job forcing her to do the same actions again and again which slowly drove her insane. In the end, it's up to readers to decide if she has a point or if like Tye believes, it's just a matter of personal mindset.

I've actually gotten into arguments with people before over the concept of "immortality fatigue". Basically it comes down to how different people handle it. There are literally infinite things to do and care about and if you don't live in a perpetual reset like Hel here does society will infinitely create more. In normal lives people can still get bored but they get over it and find other things to worry about. Still there are those l who would suffer for being immortal. In Interview with a Vampire for example our mc has immortality fatigue set in despite being honestly too young for that to really make sense from age alone. Rather he was already a depressed individual who was at his lowest point when turned. People who have gone through truly traumatic circumstances, suffer from mental illness, ect should have at least the option of mortality.

So does this mean that Hel reincarnated the pale serpents and Cywyllog into the tree already? As I don't see any other way that she could deal with souls.
