Great chapter. I especially like the fact that you addressed the points people brought up last chapter. Why isn't there a mutiny after so many difficult quests? We see that now. Why kairos didnt think more before attempting a quest cassandra got when she was way weaker? We got a reason although i feel it was weak as in shoehorned to explain the story route you wanted to take but you addressed it nonetheless. Keep going void you have a great story in your hands!

Thank you for addressing our concerns. This chapter went a long way towards restoring my faith in the direction the story is going. Kairos handled it nicely

I believe that his peoples' traditions would allow him to continue as a member of the crew.

Hum.. this is strange.. the foresight is him and him only. The island is him too, riches too, power too. He has all for him and nobody suffer the comparaison. Even if they did so what? They would have a new captain but no boat, and more, no home. So i feel strange about this.

Ah I got so cynical when Kairos started naming every lost sailor. It is such a cliché. I think his genuine care would be better established by showing how he interacted with families of those lost. Tho what do I know Tbf someone called him on it so it was an interesting moment.

How would Cassandra go about captaining the foresight anyway isn't Kairos soulbound ship. Kairos would have to abdicate his crew and build a new pirate crew in Histria or Travia

Kyle Reese

Good to see the losses actually getting to the crew instead of being shrugged off because of a semi victory. Also can’t wait to see what the foresight turns into.
