The inquisitor was correct; the sword only revealed what was already there. Will would have tried to hide his true nature longer, but he was already resentful on the inside.

As I read the Inquisitors spiel about demons digging for Wills anger and selfishness I’m reminded of the undead Parliament explaining how the vampire transformation changed Eztli. Though it seems Will had less inhibitions from the beginning and would have fallen into a demon’s arms sooner or later.
