I'm really liking this

Amazing chapter- I wonder if channeling the first emperor will have lasting repercussions.

Mitchell

Thanks for the chapter; it’s an awesome read, as always. It’ll be interesting to see how Iztac and the First Emperor’s relationship develops further.

Roberto Tomás

Completely agree is amazing

This story is quite frankly one of the best if not the best RR story. The setting is so unique, so much Dialoge is quotable, it’s draws you in … thanks so much!

Mai0e

Thank the gods you didn’t spend six centuries rehearsing those lines 😂

Void Herald

He has spent six centuries rehearsing the lines ;)

Love that chapter ending. The story continues to impress and entertain. I wonder if Iztac will torture the vampires before he kills them

Carlos Torres

Everybody thinks their hot shit until their daddy walks in with a hot new diss track.

Nicholas

"The enemy of my enemy was often just that, and no more." Iztac should probably heed his own advice in this instance. Although he and the First Emperor have a common enemy in the Nightlords it still doesn't change the fact that the latter is an omnicidal deity. What will happen once all of the Nightlord's chains binding him finally break?

"I summoned an Eldritch Deity to devour Goth Mommy Vampires (Legendary PRANK Gone WRONG!)"

Void Herald

Chikal is definitively going to take more importance in the next arc. And yes indeed, the Nightlords spent so much efforts trying to convince their empire that their puppet emperor speaks for the gods that it actually became true; Iztac's prank became real ;)

Federico Bellavista

Okay, first of all, let's get this out of the way... LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ahem. So... great chapter. Amazing chapter. So many details, and the dance of words and deceit between Iztac and Iztacoatl is masterfully executed. Seeing Chikal smile after realizing Yoloxochitl is dead has made my day, and hopefully she will understand that Iztac will eventually deliver on all of his promises. Last but not least, Iztac putting into practice what the Nightlords have unwillingly (or at least, not thinking that it would bite them in the ass) taught him, that lies and truths are one and the same provided one believes enough, has been absolutely chilling. I like to think that it wasn't Iztac that summoned the First Emperor. His was truly a ploy and a lie, a way to spite his captors... But the Nightlords' fear and paranoia were all too real... and thus, called forth their sire from the dreadful abyss.
