Void Herald

Yep, 'ruler/tactician' type classes fall under the Commander (same reason why Anna's Lord is a Commander Vassal)

Myrdin

Simon usually does a lot of research. I hope he takes the scholar crestone from Lorimer. There are probably passives there that would boost his learning speed without having to devour a crestone. Also, the Scholar wouldn’t clash with the Overlord for levels, as it would probably level up with reading and researching.

CentaureHeart

By the way Void, would a King/Queen Crestone fall under the Commander Crestone? Seems like there could be a Ruler Noble Crestone otherwise.

Thaabit Rivertree

I hope he doesn't do that. I like his character that doesn't want to let himself sink into depravity or cruelty for the sake of levels. He's right that it would change a person.

Antony444

From their perspective, he is already is too dangerous now. In Reign 3, when they knew he was the Overlord, they didn't want him to reach Level 10. Imagine today how livid most of them would be when they learned he got to Level 35...

YoYoRanger

NEIN. Chapter stack ended as soon as the arc was getting good ;-;

gostsamo

she might've cracked the overlord's secret and be loyal because it is the best strategy.

It feels inevitable that simon will come to the realization that if the Overlord class is best leveled through acting like the overlord, and that his reign will reset, then he should spend at least one reign being an absolute caricature of a tyrant to power level the class. And then let himself be killed lelouch style from code geass lol. Or at least consciously consider it.

Slapjack

Nice to see Simon locking in

Grey

Very interesting chapter. How would Simon's soul crystal abolity interact with Hector? Is his soul still in there, given his brain is preserved and seemingly active, or is he more of a mindless construct Dulcar refuses to let go of.

Lizy Flore

Sooooo… possible air pirate and crafter reigns ? Thanks for the chappie !

Void Herald

Who says he only has one? XD

Jasus

I liked the scheming of Shabram and Simon. I really hope they will plot together some more in other reigns. I could see them bouncing ideas off each other.

BlaueFeder

Duchar's Monster?

alejandrox

Thanks for the chapter XD!!!

Simon's best chance of getting one is probably bargaining for it during the civil war while keeping Overlord hidden. For example, getting mage by siding with Louis give the mage supports the church.

Publius Decius Mus

Well, I am sure this Hector will turn out to be a decent bloke, when he is not being an omnicidal murderous maniac, that is.

Antony444

Lol, given how it ended for Balzam (and 3 times at that) I have the feeling it is best to wait until you develop a really, really good plan...and even then, it's better to send someone disposable, I think. Much like the situation with the Librarian or the Oracle, if you lose a reign to confirm that yes, the defences are indeed just as strong as Balzam thought, it's really a reign wasted...and you don't even have the excuse of not knowing.

Void Herald

Thank you kindly :)

CentaureHeart

Here we go, watch the Magnos family actually coming to hunt him down when he becomes too dangerous

Pradian

Infiltrate the crafter workshop, Simon!

Nice Class reveals.There’s like two classes missing for me. Overlord 1Oracle 2Mage 3)Paladin 4) Librarian 5Rogue 6Adventurer 7Berserker 8Warrior 9Judge 10Summoner 11Merchant 12Crafter 13Commander 14Necromancer 15Monk 16Bard 17Ranger 19Dancer 18Beast 20 Alchemist 21 Rider

Antony444

Nice to have a good knowledge of all the Noble Classes. On the positive side, Simon will have a good idea where to look for them for the majority, and the rest are in the hands of House Magnos and the Endymion elites. On the negative side...well, they're all monsters to diverse degrees. Seriously, even Silk is on the level of Thalas...and I have the feeling, far more dangerous than the Berserker will ever be. No wonder the Prince trusted her to keep an eye upon Simon in a previous reign...if she wanted to eliminate him, he wouldn't have seen her coming, Overlord or not.

Antony444

Ha! Ha! Ha! Balzam must really have wanted to infiltrate the Crafter's tower, for him to lose three lives in the attempts...no wonder he used the expression 'that cursed...' I wonder if he did try those reigns before or after those where he tried to steal the secrets of Elios Magnos...between those two, they cost him seven reigns, after all.

Aaron Hicking

This shit is so fun man. Everything is so interesting. And I love Simon as the main character so much. Keep up the amazing work, your my favorite author Void!
