I wish Simon would be more careful with himself. He’s cut so many reigns short because he wants to personally deal with an issue instead of letting it play out and slowly gaining power. The Season of the Minotaur should be the rule, not the exception. Honestly, by now he should have figured out a way to live past the second Doom and grind levels by conquering/ruling/existing in the decades to follow, rather than dying within a year over and over again. He’s abusing the time loop restart mechanic too much, and not taking advantage of the fact that there’s no actual deadline. So what if the world burns and all his loved ones die for a bit? Travel to the west and live there for a decade or seven. Like, he has over eighty remaining reigns, and could easily spend over half a millennium in them. Instead, I doubt he will be fifty years old (subjectively) before the final reign. He’s fantastically suicidal for someone who, uh, grew up mortal, and it’s making my brain itch at the inefficiency. He seems to think that succeeding in the side quest he sets at the beginning of a reign is adequate for the reign’s conclusion, when he could be spending DECADES beyond that tiny mission learning magic, statecraft, strategy, and economics. And yet he wants to raid a base full of people who can probably match him because “I don’t know, it’ll be amusing to have some cobweb minions be dead for the thirty minutes until the reign ends, because they were dicks to me a few times”. Like, come on, man. Would it kill you to be even a little bit paranoid? Just, just a quarter as paranoid as a normal person? Play like ever reigns your last, please! You’ll grow so much.
Josh Cothran
YOU ARE THE FATHER 😂
Myrdin
Fist Simon needs to get ahold of the Mage crestone. Remedia may be killed first
Troglodyte
Yes he's a visionary, and yes it is from the Librarian.
George R
Great chapter
Touch
Do it my boy, help her with her issues. Give her House Magnos blood.
Dylan Alexander
Does Simon have visionary blood due to the Librarian ancestor? He’s a visionary right? Because Norbelle is a visionary thanks to her mother who isn’t a Magnos.
Ty Reol
Not even Louis can pull me out.
Zahir Nahasamapetial
I think this is going to end with Simon getting killed by the Rogue
GenericName#4528
She might be more focused on ensuring Louis loses right now
Messe
Wouldn't the Oracle check the overlords kids right off the bat for Anathemic Secrecy if its that easy to confirm. Doesn't seem possible to hide it 🤔
Publius Decius Mus
Now what on earth that idea could be? Wink-wink, nudge-nudge.
Messe
Trustworthy might be stretching it but everything else is a go!
Daedalus
Simon told the complete truth - Alphonse’s uncle was his stepfather, who was killed alongside Simon’s mom.
HarpsichordSlayer
Wait I'm confused. Last chapter he convinced the Palidin they were family lying that his Uncle was his father. So why would Remedia still think he's the Overlord's son unless I'm missing something.
GenericName#4528
I am glad Simon is trying to protect Lauriane
Davan Krueger
Only started on one side but it is likely they can talk back
Davan Krueger
He should spend a reign killing all mountain lions
Myrdin
Malphas doesn’t have a way to contact the Oracle. It was stated that the crystal ball that he has is a one way communication.
Myrdin
We don’t really know of the power of being a darkblood though. And the combination may result in something better
Gristle Tock
Oh Remedia, I think there’s a few…. ‘houses’ that could guess your idea.
alejandrox
Thanks for the chapter!!!! She wants it ;)

If it is stupid and let's Simon gain the cougar hunter title, then it is not stupid.
ConstanTeen
This sounds like a very smart idea, though...
Void Herald
edited thanks :)
NeoUsui
Yeap. Definitely. There's no way to "Fix" the issue at all.
Andrew Goebel
It feels like he's undermining the Oracle by straight up replacing her. It only makes me want a Oracle reign even more.
Diego Urbina
So far, I can see alot of benifit to being a Visionary. Being a darkblood seems to also have benefits, but it seems to have much more tame abilities when compared to Binding eidolons, or seeing the future.
Fog Witch, Bringer of Rats
A stupid idea you say? 😏
Bob1350
Simon trying his best to keep his interest on Remedia at bay, while Remedia is barely holding back her desire to have an affair with Simon. Seriously, Simon probably ticked a lot of Remedia boxes. Handsome, trustworthy, scholarly, special bloodline, and knows a lot of deep dark secrets. No wonder Filip is trying so hard to kill him. And I won't be surprised if this reign end because of Filip and in all future reigns, Simon will not hesitate to cuck him as revenge.
ThwartedHalo
Simon is slowly reeling her in lmfao! I’m genuinely enjoying this reign, it’s prob my favorite so far. It’s always nice seeing Simon trying to do the right thing but having to disguise it with ‘bad intentions’
GenericName#4528
Well there is a way to fix the issue of her child not having the blood of house Magnos
Void Herald
Good catch! Corrected, thanks.
Matthew Wilmsmeyer
Also "stone" -> "stolen".
Matthew Wilmsmeyer
Smoooooth operator over here, pretending he doesn't know what he just suggested.
Andrew Goebel
OH NO! She's working out how to get her very own visionary/dark blood descendant. MILF Reign is back baby!
Henry Wild
Thanks and I found a typo: "Books on seals, archfiends, and the Kish Empire were stone." -> "Books on seals, archfiends, and the Kish Empire were stolen."
Ekko
Call him Rizzler lmao
Hive Tyrant
Simon has grown so much 😭
Fog Witch, Bringer of Rats
💀

Could the stupid idea be having a kid with Simon?
Void Herald
You can find the pronunciation here; https://fr.wiktionary.org/wiki/cocagne
Karim Saadi
I have question. How do you pronounce cocagne because for me it's always Cocaine? Cossain?
Kiwilord
Nice
