It was a fine chaper felt like you have done better before but still not bad. But he is so dead next chapter I am calling it now. Bet he gets sex related or cuckolding power next time since it will be the cause of him being assaulted by some spider agent sent by the ranger.

I can see Simon helping out Felipe in a future reign easily, and especially his son who he's now friends with. especially if it seems likely its this curse that's been straining their relationship

My vote for the true ending: Reign 100, Simon fights all 3 previous Overlord's souls caught in the Throne. Once emerging victorious he emerges to be ambushed by his massive harem of named female MC's all mounted like cavalry on his blue-ribbon cows. (He is a Taurus after all, the cow theme is legit funny.)

But Simon has his own reasons to like her, stopping the affair just because of what his dad did would be just another way to let Balzac control his life, plus it still makes sense to continue to get close and get the Mage Crestone along with magic lessons, things could go wrong if he breaks it off now that their this far, plus Simon is still a person with desires, it’s not that crazy that he would want a beautiful and competent woman

If your looking for feedback on the choices of this chapter ill weigh in. Personally I'm not a fan of the affair continuing. In discovery of Balzams cruelty and developing an awareness of what this could do to the stability if their plans. It seems short sighted and a little out of character for the Simon that we've been getting to know to put that all in jeopardy for sex. Obviously they had their one night together and remain close. But making the affair continues starts to again move this story towards wish fulfillment in a way that makes the story feel less serious to me. Just my two cents.
