Shower moment - potential plan

I had a bit of a 'shower moment' where I've potentially come up with a plan that could be a good idea to make everyone happy (myself included).
So I have in my mind all the features and systems I want the game to include, and that isn't going to change. The PoC that was released a while ago did a good job highlighting some of these, but I want many more to be featured (costume changes, social media site where the player can upload their 'exploits' (or see some these exploits playing Chuck).
That said, I still want to make progress on the game for everyone to enjoy in the interim. Because this project is a side project, it will take a long time to get to where I want it to be. So my idea is...
I will release VN style episodes for each character. This will be a simple VN (imagine something like NTRman if you've ever played any of their games before.) Where I will add episodes for each character (starting with Helen), so that way you can see their artwork and the major part of the progression story.
This will allow me to get a big bulk of the work done (writing), while being able to present it in an easier to deploy format and being able to deliver it to you in a semi-frequent manner (like every 3 months or so - combined with below idea.) And then I can start working on these other elements in the proper release of the game that will be ready in a few years time. So to clarify, the final release will be like the PoC I showed off a while ago, not a VN.
I'm going to dedicate some monthly time to this project too with an idea I have. Since I release builds on the last Friday of the month, there are often times when there are a few days between this and the end of the month. So instead of just jumping onto the other project (The Solarion Project or Kingdom of Subversion) I will use these couple days and focus on this project instead.
So taking this month (November) as an example, I would be working on this project Monday 28th - Wednesday 30th as full days (9-5) since The Solarion Project build is scheduled for the 25th.
Let me know what you think of this idea - I'd really like to hear your thoughts on it as it could be a potential solution to the problem and would allow you guys a consistent sample of the work instead of waiting for the near finished game demo that won't be ready anytime soon.

It's hard to say on those projects, since a lot of it depends on funding. But I'd roughly put TSP at 40-50% "complete" (in terms of artwork) and KoS maybe closer to 30-40%, though there is still a lot we want to look into doing for KoS.

Really like the VN idea as well as those other elements! Unrelated question, but what are the time horizons for completion on Solarion and Kingdom of Subversion currently?

Me personally, I am expecting about 1 update a year and for the game to be done after I retire. If you could do it quicker than that, I'd be surprised.
