Nope, Mei's version is explicitly acidic mist. She can also produce acidic mud, though in the anime the mud is initially depicted as molten rock instead due to an error. Mei has both Boil and Lava Release, and both of her versions of those bloodlines are acidic in nature. Indeed Mei's version of Lava Release actually uses a different kanji from everyone else, which shifts the meaning from 'to melt with fire' to 'to melt with water', indicating the fundamentally different nature of her Lava Release bloodline. (It would actually be more accurate to call it Melting Release, as that's what the Japanese word used literally means; 'to melt'.)
