i mean concerning the comment of Alex it really looked like mito and the higher up made the whole situation so maybe she made a go at distracting shadow its not that far a stretch plus no one is 100% aware all the time even superhuman so there is that it is plot yes but not forced that much plus you got to admit that minato saving kushina in the original is as much forced then this and i don't much people saying anything about that

Well shit those squids really are the GOATS. Love the idea. The Uzumaki must’ve tried to replicate binding Fuinjutsu to their bloodline but didn’t replicate it in its entirety. Mito has no idea what she just gave Kaito huh. Also, can totally believe the whole staged kidnapping of Kushina. She really had no connections in the village and Mito had gone native enough that I could see her doing this.

Kraken Jr. is a name that’s so bad it’s good 😂. Considering Shadow can see into the future a bit, couldn’t he use her as an excuse for some of his future knowledge? Like if he wants to help the Uzamaki or at least let them shore up their defenses he could say she had a vision of something really bad happening.
