This is old but I’m obsessed with the small things in DWD. When she is cracking the egg it doesn’t work because she wasn’t supposed to be cooking then. The altered reality only works when everyone is doing what they were supposed to be doing. And the things in the world only work the way they were programmed to. It wasn’t her “usual” time to make eggs, so it didn’t work because it wasn’t programmed to work at that time. She was going off script
