Some demons are just hornier than others, Stephen .( ･ㅂ･) But mostly the theme goes the more evolved the demon is, the less likely to have horns.

By the way, something I've wondered off and on... Collectors and bound Class C (and B) don't have horns. Incubus and Lust Demons (in their "real" forms) as well as Legionnaires and Soldiers (class D) do have horns. Lurkers may or may not have horns but they're disgusting blobs of heads and crock pottery. The Merchant isn't a normal demon and neither of them has horns. So. What's up with the horns? Does Al really have them but not when he's embodied? I didn't see a hint of them in his pre-physical flash-of-fire.
