Why No Mustaches
🕑 Added 2018-05-08 13:00:01 +0000 UTC Suyohara, the artist behind The Devil and S-13 on Tumblr, recently did a comic where their Devil character started sporting a mustache and it made me laugh, in part because I've been asked before why none of my characters have any mustaches. I have illustrated for you what that would look like ( ; ╹⌓╹) !!!!I'm not a fan of drawing mustaches because 1) They get in the way of more subtle mouth expressions and 2) I grew up in the 80's and everyone's dad had mustaches and they were all very Ned Flanders and that association has never really gone away??!?
I'll begrudgingly draw them is if it's paired with a beard (looking at you, future Brock) or if it's your standard "I haven't shaved in 5 days and this is what happens" scruff, haha (Also no offense to any readers who happen to sport a 'stache - I'm sure it is a fine specimen (｡･u･)ゞ)

Heh! Al just looks like a member of a very angry barbershop quartet, but the one to the right of him has a hot Dr. Benton Quest look that works for me somehow.

Ha! Yeah, no mustaches please; my dad still wears what’s left of his porn stache from the 70s, and he’s in his 80s now. *shudder* The one exception I have is Goliath’s scruff; I think that’s kind of hot. 😍
