This page was difficult to do, for some reason - I had a lot of wordy dialogue written for Ethan that just wasn't jiving with me when it came to finally plugging it into the word balloons! I ended up ditching a lot of his exposition bcs I thought it was a little more realistic that a sudden puzzle piece falling into place in his mind would be startling enough to just come out as a simple "he was there" whisper. I hope it still works, at any rate!

Well, when Ethan says something like "I didn't do anything at all! I should have stopped him!", that's like a SUPER BIG OPPORTUNITY for Al to say "...I couldn't do anything... I couldn't stop him... I can't lose you again..." But that can't happen. Because if it does, my neighbors will call the police, convinced I'm being violently murdered.

Now that I know the lore of the cats in this world, that cat is creepy as hell . . . literally. That expression is perfect for this scene. Ever notice that there is conveniently placed bird seed/crumbs for the birds at the academy to attract the cats? Who is putting out the seed? Who is feeding the spy cats?
