Brock or Gail are gonna haul their fiancé into the sanctuary, and Devi is gonna straight up throw Peta, because he'll feel the sting of the plague on his tail or something, and then he'll get swallowed up entirely. With a relieved smile (or horrified pain) on his face. I'm crying already whatever happens TTmTT

Loving every bit of this even though there may be tears. I also find that getting the eyes and the expressions dialed in makes the whole panel or page production flow better

Knowing how stories need to work, I'm prepared for the worst. But hoping for the best. I suppose it comes down to whether Asmo is a George R.R. Martin type storyteller, or a Terry Pratchett type storyteller. I think so far it's much more the latter than the former. He has been kind to his characters. Extraordinarily so.

WAIT IM NOT DONE - Narratively superb, yes of course, mentioned. BUT VISUALLY???? TYING IT IN TO THE NARRATIVE??? that cut off second "we're gonna make it" is gutting. i'm fuckin nasd;flkj this could go either fuckin way and im prepared/unprepared for worst case scenario. i WILL cry either way - if they make it or if they dont.

im gonna cry. i'm literally gonna cry. (but also. with the hype for gail and brock to get married..... it's not... narratively weird to kill one of them. TRAGIC but we all know that this is a war thats gonna take casualties. the set up is so very good. this is some greek level shit - i can see the disaster, the catastrophe and i cannot look away. that's how you know it's good storytelling. god, i'm getting shivers about it)

sanctuaries can move... big sanctuary down at the hill stays put. team work. Also, damnit, this good storytelling. so many things can happen and all of them would be good for the overall story, especially the tragedy. You better not redshirt the only black demon though, I swear lol
