🕑 Added 2020-10-02 13:45:34 +0000 UTC I think I'm figuring out this system a bit more now. It's still super time intensive but I can trim the fat from rendering it so many times. The basic workflow is: rough 3D model a character Hand animate character and render out an image sequence Draw frames for interpolation, usually 5/8. This particular one took 6 drawn keyframes to interpolate, I put two of them in this post cause I think they look good on their own. Then after interpolating the proper animated sequence I gotta comp it in after effects and apply distortion to make the frames line up better, plus a bit of color correction. Overall it's frankly too much work to do consistently but I intend to do more of these sometime soon.
