I ran into that one today. When the dialog ends you are actually able to walk around the chapel again (even though you are still seeing the image of Athene). If you manage to find your way to the chapel door from where you triggered the dialogue you can go back into the hallway and it'll be normal. You can then go back into the chapel and navigate normally.

the new mage start is bugged too where you rescue your friends then talk to them in the chapel the dialogue stops part way through. edit: t-m-339 is right going out and back in fixes it.

That's the same thing I noticed too. But in Versoin 6.1 that should have been fixed.
