The number that is displayed on my Patreon page is what I receive AFTER Patreon takes their cut. However, it doesn't factor taxes into the equation. I'm in the tax bracket that results in the government taking 25% of my income, so I only receive 75% of the number that you actually see on my Patreon page. If you want to support me without Patreon/Uncle Sam taking a cut, then you might want to consider donating via PayPal instead.

It's really hard to pick the right time to change the game's name, since that would be a really big change and I feel like there's a lot of potential for things to go wrong. There are also a lot of factors that make me want to seek a different solution rather than changing the game's name. I'd rather make a video about it than explain it in a patreon message, though.

I have a question about pledges : what share of the total amount pledged do you actually receive? For every dollar pledged, what do you get once Patreon, banks and the government have all taken their share?
