Hey YandereDev, I had a question. I noticed that you can lockpick the nurses cabinet in 1980s mode but you cant lockpick it in 202X mode. Do you know why we cant lockpick it in 202X mode. Also, do you have an age for the nurse in 1980s mode and is she still alive in 202X mode? Thank you

This is something I don't spend a tremendous amount of time thinking about, because it's not immediately relevant to Ryoba/Ayano's stories and won't be relevant to me unless I ever make that "Yandere Simulator Zero" prequel game starring Ryoba's sister. But... When Ryoba's parents moved to Tokyo, Ryoba's grandparents and sister went with them. Ryoba's sister moved out and got her own place in Tokyo after meeting her Senpai.

Sorry for messaging abt it here idk where else to go. Yesterday I played amai on mouse and keyboard, this skipped all the events cuz of debug. I didn’t know that was why tho. And I was complaining abt in the discord and confused. I got banned after being pretty pessimistic abt it. I’m sorry, I rlly shouldn’t have been. I’ve been active in that discord everyday for awhile, supported the game, and I have a mod project I need that discord for help with. Is there anyway this ban can be revoked or reviewed? Ryoba's parents/grandparents moved out when Ryoba brought Jokichi home. They thought that it was going to be too crowded with another family member there. They moved to Tokyo, which is where many other Aishi reside. Of the two doors, one leads to a bedroom and one leads to a bathroom. Ryoba's sister had 10 rivals. She did not kidnap her senpai in the end.

I was also wondering what rooms do the two doors upstairs lead to? (Was one of them the room where Ryoba’s sister grew up in?) and did Ryoba’s sister have 10 rivals and did she eliminate them lethaly like Ryoba and end up kidnapping her senpai in the end?

Yandere dev, it was really fun playing Amai, and for that I congratulate you, but regarding the specific elimination method I think it's really too easy. To make things more complicated, perhaps you could move the wrench from the pool to the teachers' lounge, or you could make it necessary to use a key to access the ventilation system. Furthermore, I think it makes little sense that the gas explosion does so little damage, as only half the room actually seems to be affected by the explosion and even Ayano can save herself if she is nearby. I think it is more logical that Amai has a problem with the oven rather, so that the use of gas is not necessary. Still regarding this mission, I think in the future you should modify the cutscene before arriving at school as it is repetitive and seems like a modified version of Osana’s, rather perhaps since Taro and Amai are not that close yet you could simulate a video call between two. I conclude by telling you that in my opinion, regarding Amai's likes and dislikes, you could introduce a drawer in the cooking club which can be accessed thanks to a key that Amai leaves in her bag in which there are objects that reveal a lot about her character or even a diary. The final meeting with Kizana, however, seems to me to be almost the same as the one with Amai, perhaps you could decide to place it in front of a theater, where Taro was to distract himself a bit from the situation in which he finds himself. The last piece of advice I want to give you is to add the schemes because they are really necessary, in fact if you think about the specific method, without the schemes few people, especially at the beginning, would become aware of their existence, in fact many would undertake a method which takes place before Thursday and instead many would not know how to carry out the reject. For the rest (animations aside) I think the dialogues and events are truly excellent! Oh I forgot! Regarding the students sitting around the school on chairs, I don't think they make much sense... rather, don't you think it would be better to introduce in the Amai week the routine that the students had until yesterday in the Osana week? maybe with some small changes due to the slightly different routine? or you could think about adding itinerant students who move strategically from point a to point b with school materials, photocopies, books, documents. You could also think about adding small stands where students could sell objects made by them, or they could carry out propaganda on topics of interest to them (horuda for example could take a stand against bullying, budo masuta against violence, the photography club for justice, that of gardening against pollution) perhaps the students could also simply stand next to 1/2 chairs on which they would place posters, objects and distribute objects or flyers to passers-by.

It's unlikely that Ryoba's sister will appear in any capacity in the story. She would be the protagonist of "Yandere Simulator Zero," a prequel game. It's not guaranteed to ever happen, but she exists just in case it ever does. Ayano's cousin probably won't appear, either. She was a speculative character that might hypothetically be used for a tutorial. Kencho exists for lore/story reasons and probably won't ever be interact-able or play a direct role in the story.

The premise of the game is that 10 girls are going to try to confess to a boy under a tree, and you have to stop them before they do so. The tree is baked into the premise of the game. The story of the game was written around the tree.

I have to admit that I think the initial release of Amai will be "lesser" than Osana. I'll elaborate in a blog post alongside the release of Amai. Kizana COULD be released in 2024, but it depends on numerous factors that have not yet been determined yet. I'll elaborate in a blog post alongside the release of Amai.

It's possible that this bug is happening because the game is loading some save data that is not supposed to exist. To fix the bug, you could try resetting your Yandere Simulator save data. I'll explain the process below. From the Main Menu, access the Content Checklist. On the Content Checklist screen, press the "R" key. This will open a hidden debug window that allows you to completely remove all Yandere Simulator data from your computer: https://i.imgur.com/CTkCW5C.png Pressing "E" 10 times will delete all your save data and Content Checklist progress, but will also remove save data that is not supposed to exist, which may fix the bug that you're encountering.

Depends... If I can find new actors who sound indistinguishable from the old ones, perhaps I'll just keep the old lines in the game. But if it's jarring to hear the new lines beside the old lines, then I would need to have the old lines replaced.

Hello YandereDev, I have been experiencing a strange bug where when I start a new game in 202X mode, the game thinks that Osana has been eliminated already before the player gets to school. I have been experiencing this bug in the 4/15/2024 and 4/16/2024 build.

Osana can't keep the cat, because it's a connection to Osana. If the police visited Ayano's house while investigating Osana's death and discovered Osana's cat, they would consider Ayano to be a suspect in Osana's disappearance. Ayano can't let this happen, so she HAS to kill the cat and dispose of its body. It's mandatory.

I think the best question I guess would be what are some tips and advice you could give us for getting the results you’re looking for when it comes to the voice acting I mean obviously we can’t be the previous voice actors, so I hope that you’re very open minded to new sounds and voices and with that being said, if you could recommend specific mics,software, and programs that you think would help improve the quality of the sound you’re looking for that would be a good help. If this is coming up a lot I think it would suffice to make a post about this if necessary , I also think it’s kind of unfair to say you’re looking for the old voices that is to say I’m only asking that you please be open minded again to different sounding voices and also regarding specific characters if you can give a little direction on what or how you want them to sound for example I audition for amai maybe it would have sounded better or to your liking if I was given a little more direction of how you wanted her to sound.

Hello YandereDev I found a bug in the new house here are the steps 1. Select Leave Bedroom at Ayanos Bedroom 2. Go to the Basement 3. Go back to Ayanos Backroom The camera glitches when entering Ayanos Bedroom Note: The Bug doesnt happen if you go to the basement using the classic method

The ideal solution would be to find "soundalike" voice actors - voice actors who can perfectly replicate the sound of the original performers' voices so that the difference can't even be perceived. If that can't be achieved, though, then the new actors may have to re-record the old actors' lines and replace them.

I'm truly wish that you can find that voice actors. But yeah, is more probable, cause of the time, the first outcome you say. I have a question, if you can ask. When you find the voice actors, they will only put voices to the new dialogues of the game or you will also replace the old ones? Cause it will be strange having mixed voices like Osana with Kokona's voices sometimes.

I’ve seen the video on Yandere Archive and I’ve had a thought. Will you consider adding the option to switch to tank controls (like in older Resident Evil games with fixed camera angels) so that you have more control over the character when the camera switches. Or alternatively, allow the player to move the camera freely. I saw that you had to reorient the wsad keys each time the camera angle changed.
