New Tiers (?)
🕑 Added 2018-05-20 10:01:45 +0000 UTC Hi everyone, I was asked recently about the possibility of new reward tiers.However, I'm not sure what to do for them or how to price them.
I come with two possible options:
-Character Poll Tier: Patron's comment on which character I draw for the month. Will be priced maybe 10-15 USD
-Commission Tier (Limited Slots): Patron's pledged to this Tier will be able to receive a monthly commission. This will probably priced as base commission price (65 USD).
Please let me know which option you guys would like me to implement. One or the other, both, or none at all.

I think voting tiers will make things boring. If 51% chose something that others don't want. Especially if it is a higher tier that is going to be a minority. Personally I love your work and I like the variety that you put in them. I have my personal tastes but I do not like to impose them. Also, I prefer that you draw what you feel inspired to draw. That's when good things come out.

Yeah, that would be a good compromise between getting new patrons that enjoy characters you have not done while not neglecting those in here that have enjoyed your style and the unusual characters.

Could work as a good way to split them up, and generally shift things in an interesting direction.

I would suggest a random roll tier. However often you choose people are given a time alotted to give one character scenario. You take the ones you like or all of them and use a random way to pull one idea out.

For poll, maybe a monthly theme would be appropriate so character doesnt get used twice?

Voting tiers usually end up making the content boring, due to the popular characters being the requested ones and flooding the patreon with the usual suspects (2B, Ahri, so on). If I made a voting tier, I would be the one putting whatever I want to draw and let them vote and not the other way around, with people suggesting it. Commission tier looks wonderful and I would encourage you to do it, since your art is awesome, but be careful to not overload yourself with work.

Commission tier is good addition for those who want little extra, just make sure you won't get overloaded with dozens of commissions. Voting/Poll tier is good addition aswell, but I fear that same characters get repeated over and over again. Will you make some sort of 'safety net' that would make sure that same characters can't get voted on next poll?
