En septembre, ça été plutôt calme niveaux contrats. Plusieurs de mes projets ont été retardés et/ou déplacés. J'ai profité de ce temps libre pour avancer les bandes-dessinées des différents tiers, écrire un peu d'histoires pour différents projets et pour préparer un plan pour 2 projets que je souhaite présenter sur Patreon.
Comme vous avez pu le constater, j'ai publié beaucoup en septembre, mais plusieurs de ces illustrations étaient moins peaufinées. En fait, puisqu'en août j'ai eu mes vacances, plusieurs de mes illustrations avaient été fait dans mon sketchbook et je souhaitais les rehausser d'un peu de couleurs.
Pour octobre, les choses sont différentes. Je recommence à avoir des projets en édition. De plus, c'est le inktober. Ce challenge me met trop de pression et je ne souhaite pas y participer activement, par contre je souhaite m'en inspirer un peu pour certaines illustrations de ce mois-ci. Selon mon inspiration, je vais donc tenter d'illustrer en suivant les thèmes de la liste, mais à mon rythme et envie. Il n'y aura pas de patreon suggestion ce mois-ci, car déjà avec ce challenge et mes bandes-dessinées (et mes contrats!) je ne veux pas me mettre de pression supplémentaire.
Les bandes dessinées me prennent vraiment beaucoup de temps. 4 pages par mois (et donc 8 par mois quand on comprend les deux tiers) ça fait beaucoup d'illustrations à gérer. C'est aussi pourquoi je fais moins d'illustrations plus poussées. Je sais que certains aimeraient en voir plus, mais je dois faire des choix et je ne veux pas que ça devienne un fardeau. Je souhaite garder le plaisir d'illustrer sans pression. J'espère sincèrement que vous comprenez :) Je pourrais publier moins mais d'y montrer que des illustrations plus 'finies' mais j'aime tellement partager que je préfère en montrer un peu plus, mais avec un peu moins de rendu visuel.
Vous avez pu constater aussi que je présente un peu plus de mes personnages. En fait, j'essaie tranquillement de faire une 'base' pour les présenter, comme cela il sera plus facile de comprendre qui il sont dans mes différentes illustrations (générales, fluffy/romantic et spicy). J'aime aussi toujours dessiner du fanart, car ça me permet de varier mes styles, ainsi que du wakfu (mais ça, à faire 4 pages de BDs par mois, j'ai un peu ma dose avec wakfu pour l'instant alors il est certain que j'en fais moins) Et donc, je vais me trouver un autre petit challenge pour en dessiner encore, comme je l'avais fais pour le 'webtoon my style'.
Il me reste encore des patreons suggestions de mois passés que je veux vraiment terminer. Certaines illustrations sont déjà à l'étape de la couleur, je dois juste les terminer!

For October, things are different. I am starting to have publishing projects again. In addition, it's the inktober. This challenge puts too much pressure on me and I do not want to participate actively, but I want to use some of the theme to draw some illustrations this month. According to my inspiration, I will therefore try to illustrate by following the themes of the list, but at my own pace and desire. There will be no patreon suggestion this month, because already with this challenge and my comics (and my contracts!) I don't want to put any extra pressure on myself.
Comics/stories really take a lot of my time. 4 pages per month (and therefore 8 per month when you take the two tiers) that's a lot of illustrations to manage. This is also why I do less more detailed illustrations. I know some would like to see more, but I have to make choices and I don't want it to become a burden. I want to keep the pleasure of illustrating without pressure. I sincerely hope you understand :) I could publish less but show more 'finished' illustrations but I like sharing so much that I prefer to show a little more, but with a little less visual rendering.
You have also noticed that I present a little more of my characters. In fact, I'm quietly trying to create a 'base' to present them, so that it will be easier to understand who they are in my different illustrations (general, fluffy / romantic and spicy). If I can, I would like to mix my characters, Wakfu, Harry Potter, and other fanarts/universes, depending of my inspirationwith the theme :) The current ' problem' is that I already draw wakfu a lot for the comics tiers and soon I'll start a spicy one with Tristeva again (so I still draw a lot of wakfu, we just don't see it a lot) But I do hope the inktober will inpire me. Some of the inktober will be poster here, other on my social media. I just don't want to put to much pression on me. I try to vary my illustrations a bit more.
