“Chuffed” is a pretty common English/Australian term for “happy” or “content” or “pleased”. “I was ‘chuffed’ to hear those charities got a boost from 5-4”

Chuffed is British slang, which means pleased. It's the opposite to chapped, which is not to be confused with chopped.
