[Blender model] OC - Light/Dark Elf
🕑 Added 2022-04-20 21:55:13 +0000 UTCA new Original character model is available on the archive! This model will be a Patreon exclusive, I don't want it to be public because I want to use it for future previews of incoming addons.
For this model I was trying to do something different. :)
Features
- two skins, human (light elf) and dark elf. You can switch in the UI with the Human sliders
- two shapes, human and elf (more fit). As above, the sliders are in the UI
- new shader (please let me know what you think, I will switch to the old one if you don't like it :) )
- particle systems (a huge thank to Calibrator)
- all outfits should have custom pressure effects
Instructions
- Remember to install Diffeomorphic 1.6.x addonfrom: https://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/p/daz-importer-version-16.html
- Remember to disable outfit specific pressure effects before switching outfits, as they affect also the body!
To be done
- I will add very soon the physics based on the new Simplicage addon I'm working on with Morelewd (preview: https://twitter.com/MustardSFM/status/1509939580732117003 and documentation: https://simplicage.readthedocs.io)
- Better Cycles shader
Know current issues
- in some light settings, skin might appear too red. Use the Color Adjustement slider in the UI (Advanced settings in the Settings panel should be on!) to adjust it
- in some light settings, SSS might be too high. Use the slider in the UI (again, Advanced option should be enabled!)
- Cycles shader might not be ideal at the moment. Most of the focus was on Eevee shader, so don't expect a great result on Cycles at the moment
Feedbacks?
If you have a couple of minutes to spare after you check the model, I would like your opinion on the new shader (see above) and about the OC experiment in general. In fact I needed a copyright free model for new addons previews, but if you like this character I might consider to make new ones from time to time. :)

To be honest I don't know. Maybe yes, but you would have to pay more Patreon fees. I guess I prefer this way :)

You don't charge for paused months?,.. More patreon creators need to take a page from your book XD

As a final note, this doesn't count as a character, so I think I will pause also for May. Remember not to unsubscribe if you want to keep access to archive also for the paused months: if the month is paused you won't be charged!
