you know.. the more I ship these two the more I think about their relationship...
back then when my friend ask why I secretly ship Panda with Ugly Cat I just said "because he is cute" and nothing else. there's no deeper motivation, it was purely for fanservice.
but then the fan theories came. something about UC being touch starved, craving for physical love and affection after his girlfriend died long time ago. and Panda being the only object of affection he has right now.... it does makes sense, why he begin to develop those kind of feelings to Panda.
He was lonely, and now he's projecting it towards his supposedly adoptive son? kinda messed up lol. not sure if I can call this romance but it is what it is ๐
the ship is not only problematic but also kinda one-sided if you think about it. UC want romantic and sexual love out of Panda, but the boy doesn't feel the same way about him. all Panda wanted is a parent that cares for him. although he doesn't particularly dislike it when UC does this stuff to him and just goes along with it (he likes it whenever UC is being nice to him anyway)
it's just making Panda confused. He doesn't know what to feel about it, what to see UC as. His father figure? His lover? His abuser? there's no right label for their relationship. and that's why I like it, because how complicated it is.
then again.... damn I'm thinking too deep for a ship that's not even canon T^T

Oh yeah. Ah damn, just want to see UG go to town on Dan if you know what I mean. Maybe hate fucking can be a thing between them lol?

Too deep? Nah, don't worry about it. Part of the fun about making relationships is digging into the dynamic in the first place. Canon or not, it's still a form of character development.
