Be careful with Pinterest! A lot of artists get their art stolen because it's easier to access. Better to just use it as mood boards

Honestly, I find many people on Pinterest use it for ideas and don't really look to see the origin of the post. So while your art will get traffic, you may not get much credit for it. Unless it's posted to boards titled with the artist's name. Which I would definitely do. On a side note, thank you for sharing your mood boards I can definitely see your ideas and inspiration for your art. Love your process!

It’s really not worth it. Even when you directly search for something, it’s almost impossible to find. All you’d really get is it popping up rarely on peoples feeds

Honestly, I really don't loke Pinterest; it's a little too pushy for you to make an account, but also, it's harder than usual to find the original for a piece. Pinterest ISN'T interested in crediting the original artist properly.

Love this! Love to see your inspo, Arine! Definitely watermark you work, like in the corner, sides, or center. Pinterest is a good place for sharing but you never know who will be plagiarizing other artists. Better safe than sorry, right? Love your light mood-board, btw. Gives me ideas for my doodling 😄

Like others here, I love the behind the scenes look and to see some inspiration first hand! For those who do love pinterest (I personally spend more time there than any other social platform) and aren't following your art, it could be a great place to access a potential broader fanbase. But it's all what you're comfortable with 😊 I have seen other graphic artwork posted there that has spurred me on to look at someones work closer, Yehuda Devir for one.

i don't generally go on Pinterest for art, but occasionally if something really interests me or there's amazing art, I do try and find the artist or comic it's from, so I don't think it would hurt!

I love a good mood board, but I know Pinterest is the bane of so many artists because things get pinned without proper credit and next thing you know your images are everywhere and being used for things not related to your IP/brand

Your moodboards are awesome. Love the Peter Steele shrine 🖤. I don’t think it’s a good idea to post your quality art in Pinterest unless you put a BIG watermark so thieves would know that your art is credited and they can’t use it as their own.

I don't think Pinterest is a good platform for artists. I see sooo many photos with no real links or credits attached. I feel like it's only good for mood boards and idea lists. Definitely watermark your stuff. I know of one artist that uses a big watermark and a small hidden watermark (like their name in a person's hair or the folds of their clothing). The art thieves tend to miss the small watermark.
