Thanks for the explanation. I think I have a better idea of what you mean now. I'll see what I can do with it.

Thanks in advance for humouring my input. Looking forward to what you cook up 👍

Working around a language barrier here, but: 1) https://www.pixiv.net/novel/show.php?id=14702874, this one's a bit spy-mission themed with the second-part about collecting data on a target via an ultrathin membrane overlaying the suit; 2) https://www.pixiv.net/novel/show.php?id=21508198, layering is a recurring theme in this novel, but nearing the tail-end of chapter 6, the author detailed how there's a explicit barrier between the inner crotch pocket and the outer faux genetalia, even if sensations are carried through perfectly and secretions simulated perfectly; 3) https://www.pixiv.net/novel/show.php?id=21428667, this novel's fashioned like a magic show, but I liked how the "magician" transitions from one layer disguise to the next, implementing the back zipper, front zipper, and even using the flexibility of a suit to essentially vore the audience into it, I know my explanation is iffy, but there's a second language barrier here and explaining the missing context would make this so much longer.

It's hard to say, since there's usually some inevitable degree of handwaving, though there may be ways to make layer interactions interesting. Can you point me to what novels and what parts in them that interested you, for my reference?

This is just me and my personal opinion, but looking at the top votes rn, I wanted to ask how time/energy-consuming it would be for you to write in detail about the "mechanisms of layering"? I've recently read a couple of novels on Pixiv which delve into the mechanisms and I find that they elevate my reading experience.
