BEST Metal Guitar 2021? | Ibanez AZ24047 Prestige (NEW 7 String!)
🕑 Added 2021-01-26 14:00:04 +0000 UTCBefore we move to the next wishlist lesson later this week, I'd like to show you the new Ibanez AZ 7 string model in detail! I often mentioned that the AZ was a big game-changer for me last year, happy to report that they could capture that magic with the 7 string as well!
To make this a bit more interesting, I wrote a special arrangement that showcases all the sounds you can get out of the instrument. As always I transcribed what I was playing in the video just for you, check out the tabs and guitar pro files below! There are some cool 7 string ideas in there (slapping, tapping, fingerpicking, sweeping, shredding,... everything I could fit in this short demonstration) and I hope you enjoy this one until it's time to work on some important theory skills again :)
Have an amazing day my friends!

Hi Bernth, im checking this video right now as i have a free time and i would say that this is a very great for jamming. Please provide us the backing track on this so we can play jam this song on our free time. I really enjoy this a lot. Please also give us some tips on how to get all the guitar tone specially the cleanish tone. Thanks :)

Dude. Beautiful playing. Fantastic cinematography. Excellent video. I want one.

Thanks for replying it. :) I always have Ibanez guitars(RG and RDG series), and all of them has extremly THIN neck, wich is comfortable. BUT, When I started to learn shredding, I noticed, that my muscle under of my pinky (Palmaris Brevis) https://medicalartlibrary.com/images/hand-muscles-2.jpg can be tired so soon. Is it possible that the too thin neck cause this problem? My thumb is on the back of the neck and it is front of the pointer/middle finger. Sometimes I think, it would be comfortable if my guitar would have thicker neck.

Thanks for sharing that Zoltan! I did not try that one yet but I also do have a similar RGD 7 string :) This one has a thinner neck and it feels very different. I guess it's a matter of preference but I feel more comfortable on the AZ nowadays!

Hello Bernth! Just a pleasure to see you with this beautiful 7 strings AZ! I really happy to be here in Patreon, and I usually learn with your exercises. It's cool to meet another Ibanez Artist, I'm also endorsed by Ibanez in France. I hope to see you one day in clinics or gigs... ;-)

Dear Bernth, Did you try the Ibanez RGD71ALMS-BAM before that guitar? URL for this guitar: https://www.thomann.de/hu/ibanez_rgd71alms_bam.html It is 1k EUR 7 string guitar from Ibanez too, and I want to hear about your opinion, how much better for shredding this new AZ guitar than the RGD71 one? (It has got a better neck shape for you, more comfortable, faster, etc.) I have this RGD model, I love it, I'm just curious because you tried a lot's of Ibanez too. :) Best, Zoltan Erdos from Hungary

I like that you do videos like these in between because it gives us time to digest the last lesson and practice more with it instead of get distracted with new material to study

I believe the neck profile gets mention in the recent Xmas video – it's thicker and more rounded than the usual Ibanez Wizard necks.

I've had my RGIT27FE for a few years now, and I'm incredibly happy with it. To me, it's an upgrade to my RG7620 in all aspects: hardware, construction, and feel – and even the looks, as I think the natural wood texture showing through is better than plain coloured lacquer. The neck and hardware of the prestige look good, but I'm really not a fan of the scratchplate on this model. The pickup selection choices are defintely enviable, but if my RGIT27FE had everything, how would I justify buying another guitar in future? :D https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/RGIT27FE

Hello Bernth, from the optic it is not a highlight for me .. but the sound (of course related to your professional handling and playing) is nice ... your song is very nice ... i like such solo albums ... and a bit it sounds like Heavy Metal Ninjas ... but please do not hold this comparison against me ... cannot wait to get your new album

love the single coil in neck position! great move from Ibanez. The only downside I see is the full floating bridge with recess body. I would have prefer a dive only trem for detuning the guitar (just like you did for this presentation song) on the fly

wanted to ask this question for some time now, what's the model of this guitar - https://imgur.com/whcfnoR ?
Thimothi
How's the neck profile?

Some serious Abasi influences here!
