#316 - You're Practicing The WRONG Guitar Exercises.
🕑 Added 2024-03-15 15:30:01 +0000 UTCMy friends, you voted for a video about weak finger exercises - so I wanted to feature them in an episode that is all about the best exercises you could practice :) We discussed over 600 exercises already, and these are some I can highly recommend.
Download your practice package for this week (guitar pro files, tabs, backing tracks, play-along videos): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1P3q-XwLyODrtBqyfIzOIDzWlxFpWgxzN?usp=sharing
Choosing the right exercises for your daily routine is extremely difficult and I often get asked which ones work best. While it's hard to say which ones are perfect for YOU, I do feel like the concepts shown here should give you a great advantage. Hope you have fun with these :)
As always, I also made a Dropbox folder in case Google Drive doesn't work for you: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/bzv0jrnds67c6t05c0m0z/h?rlkey=pj4qnl36lirelh4tpc36as9iz&dl=0

Guitar Pro is great. If you want 80 bpm just do the slow 40 bpm at 2x speed.

Transcribe is also a cheap and useful app to slow video down

Hey Adam, there will be a post from Bernth later today about the next VIP/Platinum member collab video - the deadline for this one will be March 25th, so we will also set this deadline for that solo! We think that having a solo like this to learn and play for the video will be helpful for anyone that doesn't have original videos/material, but as always original content is also welcome for the collab :) Hope that helps! Team Bernth

When is the deadline for posting a playthrough of the solo on here?

Jo Bernth, we all already are paying members of your community. Can't you please cut the advertisement sections off your videos? I think this to be redundant and kinda annoying, considering having already subscribed. All the best Dante

Hey there, as Bernth mentioned in the video, there's a Guitar Pro file with full instrumentation added in the downloadable files. You can completely change the tempo to your liking with this one (since everyone will have different preferences) and practice this way until you can use the backing track for the original tempo :) Team Bernth

I love these exercises, even though I been playing for a while now. I find these to be so beneficial for myself and my practice sessions. Even when I warm up

Hello Bernth, thanks for this exercise. You gave the full solo at a speed of 120 bpm. Please always add an intermediate speed, say 80bpm. I have been able to play each of the three solo up to 80bpm but can't seem to stay on beat combining them. Thanks

BTW I tell everyone about these Patreon exercises. It's improved my playing a lot.

Hey man, I really appreciate your instruction. I’ve been planning the guitar for 60 years and I’m still imp grooving. I played professionally. for couple decades but you’re definitely teaching me some stuff. Thank you.❤️😎

Hey Bernth, where's the lesson to find more time in my schedule to practice more? There are too many fun things too learn and not enough time 😂🤟🏻☕️
