So I happen to have a huge library of fields in regards to hair in general. This library also contains fields in particular for hair loss or alopecia. Now, when it comes to hair loss I like to attack it from different angles since hair loss in general can stem from many different area depending on the individual.
An increase in Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels on the scalp has been one of the primary contributors for both male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness.
DHT resides in our blood and reaches hair follicles internally, at the cellular level. But it’s also present exteriorly, on the surface of our scalp. It gets on the surface through excretion, via sweat and sebum. DHT does just as much damage to our hair follicles internally as it does externally.
This is caused by the build-up of sebum (natural oils secreted from your scalp). This sebum not only blocks pores, inhibiting hair follicles from growing hair, it also causes hair loss at the root, thanks to the DHT in it. ( yea thanks a lot DHT)
Overtime, the sebum on our scalp builds upon itself, layer after layer, creating a type of plaque. This plaque is what causes the shininess on the scalp.
Furthermore, Some people are more susceptible to these effects of DHT on scalp hair based on variations in their androgen receptor (AR) gene.
This field is designed to target the existing DHT on your scalp as well as they current sebum. It works to clean things up that are effect the loss of hair while re-seeding and creating an environment for new hair growth.
You see, you need to see your scalp as a garden where plants, luscious flowers and trees (HAIR) grow. What DHT does is, it slowly turns your luscious garden aka your scalp into a desert. Now don’t get me wrong there are 1000’s of desert plants that existing but it does not compare to the environment of a luscious forest or garden in regards to a thriving environment of plants, trees and greenery aka your hair.

what about one for switching off the ar gene so scalp follicles aren't affected by DHT at all, wouldn't that be more beneficial for hair loss than just reducing dht levels, or even supressing dht conversion completely
