TV Series Poll Update!

Thank you all for your poll votes and comments! We'll get down to the results in a minute, but first I just wanted to give y'all a general overview of our TV plans. In the near future we'd like to start releasing 3 shows a week on Patreon, and we'll aim to have at least one of them be a long-running series (Like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad are now), and at least one of them be shorter series or a new season of a running series (Like we did with The Last of Us and Band of Brothers). The third series could be either long or short.
Back to poll, the big winners were Chernobyl and Firefly, so you can expect us to do both of those as our third series next to BB and GoT next. We'll circle back once those are wrapping up to decide our next TV choices. Don't worry if your favorite series didn't get the most votes! There are a few series we've had our eye on that we might just skip to when we have the time :)

Doesn't matter if they've been "done to death". I'm not here to watch the shows, I'm here to watch some new people reacting to the shows, especially "Firefly".

It's a powerful show. Can be a hard watch for some, but worth it, IMO.

Looking forward to your reaction to "Firefly". One big thing to remember - the show was not just inexplicably (I know, I know) canceled, but it was canceled before its first season was even finished being written, much less filmed. So, while you are probably going to be hankering for some closure in the show, you are only getting about half of the planned season and will have to rely on the movie "Serenity" for that closure.

Strongeyes, if you look at other reaction channels as you suggest, most every reaction channel does game of thrones, breaking bad, firefly, chernobyl, band of Brothers, the Shawshank redemption, the green mile, alien, predator, Terminator, Forrest gump.... So Maple literally IS doing what other reaction channels are doing. They're keeping their channel alive because people love these shows and movies. And by reaching this massive audience that is willing to rewatch Firefly and Chernobyl and band of Brothers six times a year, that will help them gain a big enough audience to do the things you want them to do. Patience.

Well they do well because tons of people want them, so it makes sense why they chose it. And like they said, they'll start other shows in the remaining slots.

Definitely not surprised as these are two of the best shows of all time but I am definitely excited for rewatches with you! Just keep in mind that once you finish the show, Firefly's conclusion is the movie Serenity
