They are not zombies as they are alive humans just like an animal with rabies we don't call them zombies just FYI.Also only humans can be infected.It's my favorite game of all time.

In case you haven't watched the Making of segment after episode 1, and were planning on it - they do give away a piece of information that is not said in the first episode. I personally feel that it is information that should be kept a mystery until it is made clear in the story. For what it's worth.

So excited to join you guys on this! I will say - please do still be very cautious of spoilers!!!! A lot of people (myself included) know what happens in part 2 of the game, and believe me when I say you don't want to get spoiled. This story line is too good, imho, and it would be such a shame to have it spoiled. But BUCKLE IN. You are in for a ride.
