A lot of us were surprised to see Constantine in a fantasy list, but I'll take it. It fits the definition because it has supernatural elements so I get it, but it doesn't have that medieval element you might expect from classic fantasy. I'm still voting for it because it's one of my favorites. Everything listed would be great to watch. Legend really is the best classic depiction of a "Fantasy" story. Willow is a fun and often overlooked fantasy with an interesting new world using classic tropes. The Never Ending Story is an epic children's adventure. Love the Constantine film, I just wish they'd make some with Matt Ryan from the DCU instead of Keanu (who's great, but who's not at all like the character). The plot is very much like something from the Hellblazer comics including the character relationships. The critics hated it, and that's usually a good sign too ;-)

can anyone spot the odd one out on the list 3 of them are fantasy and 1 is not i would be happy with never ending story or legend or willow but i will not be happy if the non fantasy film Constantine wins so why are people voting for it it blows my mind

GATTACA is so overlooked by everyone. This movie will stay with you the rest of your life. I've had countless people thank me for introducing them to this movie.

These are all good, but I voted Legend because it almost perfectly represents the mental aesthetic I see when I think "fantasy". Plus, unlike some of the other choices, the effects and costumes are just about flawless even 40 years later.

I voted for Neverending Story. That one is on that huge list of recommendations I gave you. In case you don't have time to look at it, I'll give you the same advice regarding this film I gave there in case it wins and I don't have the chance to say this when it does. There are two versions of this movie--the Director's Cut, and a theatrical release. Please, please make sure you get the THEATRICAL RELEASE. There are several scenes in the DC that weren't properly edited, and which look terrible, and it has bad voice dubbing that doesn't sound right at all. Most importantly, though, the DC doesn't have the iconic music the movie had when it came out in theaters, and the lack of it robs the movie of much of it's power. Not to mention, it might be harder for people to find the DC, which means less people will be able to watch, because we can't sync with you. Whatever wins, I'll be here, but I really hope NES wins. You guys will love it.

Nothing wrong with the others but glad Legend is winning cause this, Krull, Company of Wolves, Excalibur, the baffling Zardoz, these are the movies that need to be talked out.

I wouldn’t call Constantine fantasy. It’s religious horror and action. Also look… Legend isn’t gonna win this… BUT WATCH IT ANYWAY SO PEOPLE START REACTING TO IT! Create the fucking demand homies. Tim Curry’s performance in that is ALL TIME GREAT. Also if you “partake”… great movie for that.
