This is my first watch of S8, so allow me to speculate: I don't think Daenerys is going to make it to the throne. She's already making enemies (Sam, Sansa, Lyanna Mormont), nobody wants her in the North, everyone wants Jon to be king, AND Jon is the true king. Plus the dragons listen to Jon, so they don't necessarily need her to control them now. Wild. Sam's question to Jon is interesting "Do you think she'd give up her crown" I'm really not sure. Probably not. She's been much more ruthless than Jon in going after power.
